Dr. Kimberly Maroney is a primary care doctor who is board certified in Family Medicine and is the Medical Director for Hydrate Texas. She is currently licensed in both Colorado and Texas and spends time between the western slope of Colorado and the bustling city of Houston, Texas. Previously she had a rural family medicine clinic in Rockport, Texas which succumbed to Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
She brings with her 20 + years of experience in many realms of family medicine, including Primary Care work where she saw patients of all ages, Hospitalist, and Emergency Room Work. She has held positions such as Aim Hospice Medical Director, Concentra Medical Director, Vice President of the Aransas County School Board, and member of the Methodist Healthcare Ministry. Currently she works for Emergency Hospital Systems in the great Houston area in the Emergency Department, and as a primary care provider for Integrated Insight Community Care in Grand Junction, Colorado. Her true calling is that of a primary care physician where she can have a close relationship with her patients and their family members across generations.
When Doctor Maroney describes how she likes to practice family medicine she would say “Treat others as you would like to be treated”. She strongly believes in empowering patients to make healthy medical, mental health, and spiritual choices. On her days off you can find her exploring Colorado or attending sporting events to watch her youngest daughter compete. Her oldest daughter attends Colorado School of Mines. Her Hobbies include gardening, hiking, kayaking, cooking, stained glass work and playing with her three dogs.
